One might think that blunders aren't within easy reach at multinational corporations. This was proved false when a franchisee of the big fast-food chain, McDonald, made a huge error when designing the storefront sign.
Petrus Madimetja's Pedi graphic designer who was born and raised in Bolobedu made a costly blunder of writing "McTonalt" on the store's logo. As both, the designer, and franchisee are native Northern Sotho speakers, their erratum was recognized by a German tourist who had found the store on Google Maps.
Edmund Weber, the tourist, then alerted the manager who would also notify his boss of their mishap.
"I tit not know that everypoti wout notice we hat mate a mistake. And I titn't think it was anything big but I'm glat I fixtit," said Maditje when pressed for comment by Rom Newz.
