American rapper 21 Savage thanked South Africa's president, in a tweet after the leader chose the number 21 for the country's lockdown.

Cyril Ramaphosa declared a lockdown on the Southern African nation. This was after coronavirus cases rapidly increased by over one hundred daily.

As a huge stan of the rapper, the president chose the number to prove his loyalty to the musician.

Shéyaa Bin Abraham, popularly known as 21 Savage, thanked the president in a tweet that read, "Tanki Ramaphosa mfana! Khale ke nyaka daai ding".
