A Joburg-based real-estate millionaire bachelor known for his down-to-earth persona surprised his followers when he booked three theatres and an additional four restaurants to disturb happy couples' Valentine's plans.
Vishal Mazibuko started his business ventures with savings from Kota shops he established when he was 19 after he got a cash injection from his plumber father. He then purchased an old building, with the help of a friend, and renovated the place by turning it into a residential complex.
Mazibuko's lavish but modest lifestyle can be seen on his 719k-strong Instagram account. The magnifico has, in the past showcased his fleet of trucks, cattle, and philanthropic gestures on the social media app, but it was his latest stunt that caught the eyes of many.
The investor bigwig purchased all-day movie tickets from three major cinemas for February 14th, Valentine's Day. He also booked four restaurants in a bid to thwart couples' plans.
He received backlash from angry couples who blatantly labeled him as "petty" or a "low-life thug," but some of his fans quickly came to his defense by arguing that he had every right to use his money however he saw fit. Mazibuko could not be reached for comment, due to his spectral quiddity.
