South African Police investigative team, the Eagles, has launched an investigation to find out how Lebani Sirenje, popularly known as Rasta The Funeral Painter, managed to paint an almost perfect portrait of the late property mogul, Dr. Richard Maponya.
Rasta arrived at the funeral wearing a grey shirt and a doek, probably borrowed from his aunt, DJ Maphorisa. He was carrying his usual toolbox that holds his magic painting brushes. Mourners were expecting that he would disrespect the legacy of the late magnate but Rasta surprised everyone when he deviated from his usual style - painting other celebs instead of the intended person.
Police were also present at the Order of the Baobab honouree's funeral and the leader of the Eagles announced his intentions to launch an investigation to determine if Rasta was using drugs in the past.Is Rasta improving or he didn’t smoke weed today? #RIPRichardMaponya #RIPMaponya pic.twitter.com/Irr24bma9A— Man’s NOT Barry Roux (@AdvoBarryRoux) January 14, 2020
