I had a long conversation with Madiba Glen, a 2.06m tall basketball giant who plays for the Univen Basketball team and, we discussed some things I know you would love read about.
Popularly known as "Beans SA" on social media, the Thohoyandou native shed light onto one of the things he loves wholeheartedly, basketball. Glen shares that he was inspired by a friend and someone of his rarely tall stature, fellow Thohoyandou basketball player who goes by the name "Big Chilli."
"I've played basketball since 2012 and I've had an impressive run at the University of Venda. But so far, I've been looking for a league basketball team I could play for," he said.
