Nasty C has decided on changing his name to "Nesti Bona" in a bid to avoid the ongoing case on naming rights.
It was revealed earlier this week that Nasty C didn't own the rights to the "Nasty C" name or brand. It is a name that was allegedly bestowed upon him by Whisper, his friend. His previous stable, Mabala Noise, brought this up after Nasty C won the GQ Musician of The Year award and this made it seem like the label had beef with the rapper. Many tweeps called the label "Ma-bitter Noise" in reference to the bosses supposedly getting bitter at Nasty C for winning the award.
The rapper has had a good year in music, from having his German fans sing his songs word-for-word at his Europe concert to touring Japan and other countries. He also shared snaps of himself in studio with US artist Big Sean earlier this year. It was apparently, for a single that will be featured on his upcoming album titled "Zulu Man With Some Power."
Mabala Noise could not be reached for comment after countless emails I left in my outbox at the time of publishing this article.
Do you think this is a smart move by the rapper? Share your thoughts in the comments.
